1、 Bearing installation skills

1. During installation, it is not allowed to knock and install under any circumstances. The force exerted on the bearing must not be transferred from one bearing ring to another through the rolling element, otherwise the raceway may be damaged. We can choose mechanical, heating or hydraulic methods according to the type and size.

2. When installing the eccentric sleeve, first put the eccentric sleeve on the eccentric step of the bearing inner sleeve, and tighten it by hand in the rotation direction of the shaft, then insert the small iron bar into or against the counterbore on the eccentric sleeve, and knock the small iron bar by hand hammer in the rotation direction of the shaft to make the eccentric sleeve firmly installed, and lock the hexagon screw on the eccentric sleeve.

3. Don't tighten the bolts to fix the bearing seat, let the bearing sleeve rotate in the bearing seat, and then fasten the bearing seat bolts. Use the same method to install the other end bearing and seat on the same shaft, rotate the shaft several times, and let the bearing itself automatically find the correct position.

4. Before installing the bearing on the shaft, the surface of the journal shall be polished smooth and clean, and the journal shall be coated with oil for rust prevention and lubrication (the bearing is allowed to rotate slightly on the shaft), and the fixing pin of the bearing sleeve shall be pulled out at the same time.

5. Apply lubricating oil on the matching surface of bearing seat and bearing, and install the bearing into the bearing seat. Then put the assembled bearing and bearing seat together on the shaft and push them to the required position for installation.

6. In order to prevent friction corrosion between the mating surfaces. For the bearing ring with clearance fit, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of anti creep corrosion agent on the fit surface.

2、 Disassembly skills of bearing

1. Loosen the locking screw on the bearing eccentric sleeve with an internal hexagon wrench, then insert a small iron bar into the counterbore on the top cover eccentric sleeve, and loosen the eccentric sleeve against the rotation direction of the shaft.

2. After loosening the bolt fixing the bearing seat, remove the inlet bearing together with the bearing seat from the shaft. It should be noted that before removing the bearing pedestal at one end of the shaft, the bearing pedestal bolts at the other end of the shaft should be loosened to avoid damage caused by mutual stiffness of the bearings at both ends.
