Four ways to remove rolling bearing

1、 Push method

Press the bearing with a press to ensure stable and reliable operation without damaging the machine and bearing shield machine room. The press has manual pushing, mechanical or hydraulic pushing.

Attention: the force point of the press should be in the center of the shaft, and it should not be biased.

2、 Percussion method

The striking force is generally applied to the inner ring of the bearing, and the striking force of the shielding machine room should not be applied to the rolling body and the cage of the bearing. This method is simple and easy, but it can easily damage the bearing. When the bearing is located at the end of the shaft, the copper bar or other soft metal material smaller than the inner diameter of the bearing shall be used to hold the end of the shaft, and the lower part of the bearing shall be equipped with a cushion block, which can be removed by gently striking with a hammer. The application of this method should pay attention to the proper position of the cushion block and the correct point of force.

3、 Pull out method

Special puller is used. When disassembling, as long as the handle is rotated, the bearing will be pulled out slowly. When removing the outer ring of the bearing, the corners of the puller's feet shall be opened outwards; when removing the inner ring of the bearing, the puller's feet shall be inward and stuck on the end face of the inner ring of the bearing.

Focus:

1. Hook the puller's hook to the inner ring of the bearing instead of the outer ring to avoid excessive looseness or damage of the bearing;

2. When the puller is used, the screw rod shall be aligned with the central hole of the shaft and shall not be skewed. It should also pay attention to the stress of the draw hook and the bearing, and do not damage the draw hook and the bearing;

3. Pay attention to prevent the hook from slipping;

4. The bending angle of the two feet of the puller is less than 90 °.

4、 Thermolysis

Used to remove tight fit bearings. First, pour the oil heated to about 100 ℃ on the bearing to be removed with an oil pot, and then pull out the bearing with a puller after the bearing ring is heated and expanded.

Focus:

1. First, the puller shall be installed on the bearing to be removed and a certain tension shall be applied;

2. Before heating, the shaft shall be wrapped with asbestos rope or thin iron plate to prevent the shaft from thermal expansion, otherwise it will be difficult to disassemble. When disassembling the bearing from the bearing housing hole, only the bearing housing hole can be heated, not the bearing;

3. When pouring oil, the shield machine room should pour the oil pot on the bearing ring or rolling body smoothly, and place an oil basin under it to collect the hot oil flowing down, so as to avoid waste and scald;

4. Operators should wear asbestos gloves to prevent scalding.
